It is self evident. A single photon moves in a particular direction
either with an upward component of motion or a downward component of motion.
It's motion is that of an indiidual and is unaffected by the bulk rules of
statistical mechanics.

On the other hand the net flux is a bulk measure and as such, it's pattern
of radiative diffusion is governed by the bulk statistical characteristics
of thermodynamic systems.

This is another example of how a question was answered, and the Denk was
incapable of comprehending the answer then demanding that the answer was not
given, when in fact it clearly was answered.
