The best example is the Libertarian support for Corporate Monopoly and
laws that restrict the formation of those monopolies.
Statist pigs, I fear, doesn't understand something about air. It is not
that folks are unable to keep from breathing it that makes is special.
Air is not special. Just cheap. And, as such, impractical to control as
you would other property. It IS perfectly resonable to charge people
for air. It is also perfectly resonable for folks to abstain from
buying it from you due to the abundace of "free" air.
We can and I do claim the air above my home. The reason it doesn't
make any difference is that nobody wants it, and I don't want to spend
the money required to hoard and control it.
This issue, I might add, is often brought up by "collectivists" as an
example of a public good. They are, obviously, very much in error
(there are no public goods), they are invention of stalinist minds.
