Do you realize that there is at least one runway in and out of Reagan
International that goes right over the Pentagon?

You do realize that, right?

The end of the runway is less than 3/4 mile from the building.

Aircraft are going - how fast - at landings and takeoffs?

That would give a defensive force - how long - to decide if they should blow
from the sky an aircraft full of vacationers?
