Considering that you can't trust the company's claims, the Hornet
should probably be considered a 100W machine. In the $2k range you can
get a reputable 1000W machine, with slip rings, furling, proper
bearings, a real rectifier-regulator-dump load, and a 5 year warranty.

give you an idea of the turbine's value. It's basically a modified car
alternator with a really crummy-looking pivot and tail. Here's the
manual for the AirX

Only a little more money and a lot better machine that's complete as
delivered.
